I grew up in South Philadelphia. A city that taught me rhythm before I even had a reason to write. Back then, music wasn’t a dream; it was survival. I was that kid in the neighborhood cyphers, trading verses on street corners, using rhyme as both escape and expression. Hip-hop gave me language for everything I didn’t yet know how to say.

As I got older, I wanted to understand the business behind the beats. I educated myself in the music business and arts, earning certifications that helped me transform raw passion into sustainable purpose. Those lessons turned local mixtapes into strategy, and open mics into stages across the East Coast and Southern Christian music circuits, where my artistry, became known for truth, transparency, and conviction.

But evolution has its own rhythm. Over time, I began to outgrow the boxes people tried to keep me in. My message shifted from performance to purpose, from preaching to healing. That’s when Lyrinx Legacy Media was born: a home for my music, my books, and the kind of conversations that restore the soul.

 

Today, my sound carries the same heart it always has only refined, freer, and more conscious. I call it soul music with intention. Whether it’s through Love is Love, Late Bloomer, Change for Us, or Therapeutic, my mission is the same: to create art that speaks to healing, growth, and legacy.

From cyphers in Philly to studios around the world, I’ve learned that your voice isn’t just what you say it’s who you decide to become.
